Before the work starts, Matt Kouba, CRPD Park Superintendent, tells the volunteers about the new Sapwi Trails Park and COSCA's 40th anniversary.
This is where the new trail will be. We walked along this on the way to our work area.
Our work area had a pretty steep cross-slope. That means we need to move a lot of dirt to make a level trail!

Here you can see how steep the cross-slope is and how much dirt we need to move!
This section of the trail wan't on such a steep slope.
The volunteers did a great job building this new trail!
Meanwhile, back at the steep part, people are still hard at it!
We headed up for lunch at 11:00
Matt Kouba thanks the volunteers for all our hard work.
