Anyone who joined or renewed between the <a href=\"http:\/\/corbamtb.com\/news\/2015\/09\/01\/ggr-partners-with-corba-for-a-corbaimba-membership-drive-august-31st-october-18th\/\" target=\"_blank\">August 31st announcement<\/a> and the Girlz Gone Riding Rocktoberfest on October 18th was eligible to win a new 2015 CORBA Jersey. At the GGR event we had several last minute memberships, which brought the number up to 70! We had such a successful campaign, that we drew four winners instead of the planned two! <strong>Joanne Richards<\/strong> was one of the late renewals, and was present to take home her jersey. <strong>Katy E.<\/strong> from San Pedro, <strong>John Wallace.<\/strong> from Ventura and <strong>Peter Adamson.<\/strong> from Torrance will be receiving theirs by mail.<\/p>\n<p>For those who didn&#8217;t win a jersey, they are available for purchase from Voler for $65 plus tax. Details are at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.voler.com\/browse\/product\/li\/1T100C1\" target=\"_blank\">Voler<\/a>, and a portion of the proceeds comes back to CORBA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imba.com\/membership\/imba-2015-fall-membership-drive-0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imba.com\/sites\/default\/files\/IMBA_Fall_AD-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"258\" \/><\/a>While CORBA&#8217;s Membership Drive is over, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imba.com\/membership\/imba-2015-fall-membership-drive-0\" target=\"_blank\">IMBA&#8217;s Fall Membership Drive<\/a> is still going on.\u00a0Anyone who joins or renews their CORBA\/IMBA membership between October 2nd and November 15 will be eligible for a number\u00a0of prizes, including lights, hydration packs, and even a two-day\u00a0mountain biking getaway.<\/p>\n<p>We rely on membership <em>dollars<\/em> to fund our programs, to give at-risk youth the chance to ride a mountain bike, to restore and repair trails, to meet with land managers to propose new trails, to plan, build and maintain bike parks.\u00a0We depend\u00a0on membership <em>numbers <\/em>to make sure that when we speak to land managers, they know we speak\u00a0for a large and growing community, and they listen.
