{"id":4814,"date":"2013-07-30T20:12:30","date_gmt":"2013-07-31T03:12:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/corbamtb.com\/news\/?p=4814"},"modified":"2013-07-30T20:34:12","modified_gmt":"2013-07-31T03:34:12","slug":"niner-bikes-generous-donation-to-corba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/corbamtb.com\/news\/2013\/07\/30\/niner-bikes-generous-donation-to-corba\/","title":{"rendered":"Niner Bikes&#8217; Generous Donation To CORBA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>CORBA recently received a generous donation of framekits from Niner Bikes.<a href=\"http:\/\/ninerbikes.com\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-4822\" alt=\"NIN_weblogo\" src=\"http:\/\/corbamtb.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/NIN_weblogo.jpg\" width=\"132\" height=\"122\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some of these sweet <a href=\"http:\/\/ninerbikes.com\" target=\"_blank\">Niner<\/a> frames will be put into CORBA&#8217;s <a href=\"www.corbamtb.com\/programs\/youth.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Youth Adventures<\/a> fleet, where at-risk youth are given the opportunity to experience the joy of \u00a0cycling on trails in our State Parks. Others will be raffled off to reward volunteers who come out for CORBA&#8217;s trailwork days, or to raise funds to support our programs.\u00a0The generous donation will also benefit our neighboring IMBA Chapters, including the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbmtv.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Santa Barbara Mountain Bike Trail Volunteers<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/mwba.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mount Wilson Bicycling Association<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sharemtb.com\" target=\"_blank\">SHARE Mountain Bike Club<\/a>\u00a0and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sdmba.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">San Diego Mountain Bike Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4816 alignleft\" alt=\"Niner Bikes Generous Donation to CORBA and IMBA\" src=\"http:\/\/corbamtb.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/2013-07-05-12.41.41.jpg\" width=\"188\" height=\"288\" srcset=\"https:\/\/corbamtb.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/2013-07-05-12.41.41.jpg 521w, https:\/\/corbamtb.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/2013-07-05-12.41.41-195x300.jpg 195w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 188px) 100vw, 188px\" \/>Niner has a strong history of supporting mountain biking advocacy. They truly understand that more trail opportunities helps grow the sport, and everyone benefits. As an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imba.com\/partners\/corporate\/aboveandbeyond\" target=\"_blank\">Above and Beyond IMBA Corporate Member<\/a>\u00a0their custom IMBA-themed bikes have generated many thousands of dollars for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ninerbikes.com\/imbatee\" target=\"_blank\">IMBA<\/a> at the national level. For many years they have also been there to support CORBA&#8217;s efforts at the local level.<\/p>\n<p>They also understand mountain bikes themselves, making some of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ninerbikes.com\/find_your_niner\" target=\"_blank\">sweetest mountain bikes available<\/a>.
