Make sure you tell them you are from GGR and they will treat you extra special! http://www.npbikeshop.com/

GGR trail work day June 15th sponsored by CORBA!  This was our 1st trail work day on the fire damaged trails in Sycamore Canyon. We were proud to work on a trail we loved so very much! We will do it again in the fall when it cools down.  As a GGR member, we ask for 2 trail work days a year to be completed.

June 29th was a double event day for GGR! In the morning we had a GGR beginner ride with girlz riding from 1 month to 1 year! We had a fun time riding to the Nike Tower and back. It was an absolute furnace! 104 degrees when we were done! The girlz were troupers and every one completed the ride!

The same evening we had PEDAL-DRIVEN night at Kimberly’s. Pedal-Driven is a bikeumentary about trail building and dealing with land managers. We had yummy treats, vino and a great flick! WHAT A DAY!

Soooooo, what’s coming up?? Another Wenches with Wrenches work shop! The workshop is sold out sorry. July 28th at http://www.npbikeshop.com/. We will be simulating everything that can go wrong on the trail and making repairs as well as suspension set up and basic maintenance.

ATTN TUBELESS LADIES! Now that summer is here and temps are reaching triple digits, remember that your Stan’s dries up quicker in the heat! Summer time means injecting more to keep the sealant in! For more info, please go to: http://www.notubes.com/

And on a note that is close to my heart and many others, the Danusia Bells are now here! We are working on the literature and a bell box program. We hope to have them online and ready to sell soon. All the profits will be donated to the sarcoma fund to help others with  Leomyosarcoma; You can purchase these bells directly from Wendy Engelberg anytime for $10. I will be keeping a box in my car now all the time.

Well, it’s been an exhausting weekend of cycling with great people and I am very content. Some of us GGR girlz signed up for the Cool Breeze Century on August 17th, so training starts next weekend with a supported ride starting at the Unlikely Cyclist.
